Our Garden

We think our little garden speaks for itself, but let’s give a little context. All of the vegetable starts originate from the Seattle Tilth Organic Vegetable Fair, the proceeds of which go to expanding organic and local farming in the area. We spent $400 on vegetable starts, another $300 on soil, and another $500 on our container planting boxes. Starting this week we began harvesting from our RoundGlass garden, and will continue to harvest gorgeous vegetables well into October or November, saving on average $300-400 in vegetable purchases a month. June, July, August, September, October = at least $1500 of product, which means it is already paying for itself in its first year! The impact on our team members to be able to learn to harvest and grow their own food is priceless.
